SunCheri Fruit Market is a fictional company that came to life following some client concepts that were left unused. Inspired by a local fruit market that brings fresh Okanagan fruit to 100 Mile House, SunCheri Fruit Market is vibrant, playful, and dedicated to supplying the best quality peaches, pears, apples, and cherries.
The images above are a carousel post I designed for Instagram to showcase the visual identity of SunCheri Farm Market. My favorite part of this project was the opportunity to explore vibrant colors; my color palettes tend to be more neutral, so this was a welcome challenge to break from my usual habits. This was also an opportunity to explore Adobe Illustrator's new built-in mockup feature to create the apple crate mockup.
The image above is another concept for a potential logo. It still needs some refining but shows a part of the design process. This client wanted to incorporate their Italian heritage into the design. The lemon Vespa was a fun and playful idea to help set them apart from their competition; it also served as a symbol of their Italian heritage and the delivery aspect of their brand. In the end, this concept was declined because although it heavily represents Italian heritage, the client wanted something more elegant, timeless, and relevant to the Okanagan Valley.
